SSC Recruitment 2015-Combined Higher Secondary Level Examination

SSC(Staff Selection commission) released the notification for the recruitment of Postal Assistants/Sorting Assistants, Data Entry Operators and Lower Divisional Clerks .The minimum qualification required is Intermediate/10+2.The details of the notification are
furnished below.

Vacancies of the posts:

The vacancies of the posts are as follows:

Postal/Sorting Assistants-3523 posts.
Lower Division clerks -2049 posts.
Data Entry Operators -1006 posts.

Educational Qualification:

The candidate should have passed 12th Standard or equivalent examination from a recognized Board or University.
( As on 01.08.2015) .

Age limit:

18-27 years as on 01.08.2015
(Candidates born not before 02-08-1988 and not later than 01-08-1997).

Selection Procedure:

The selection procedure involves
Written test.
Skill/Typing test.
Of the above two tests,Skill test/Typing test is qualifying test.The candidates
who get prescribed marks in written test are selected for the Skill test/Typing test.

Pay scale of various posts:

Postal Assistant/Sorting Assistant PB -1(Rs. 5200-20200) Grade Pay 2400
Data Entry Operator : Pay Band-1 (Rs. 5200-20200), Grade Pay Rs. 2400
Data Entry Operator : Pay Band-1 (Rs. 5200-20200), Grade Pay Rs. 1900
Lower Division Clerk: Pay Band -1 (Rs. 5200-20200), Grade Pay Rs. 1900
Total salary ranges from Rs.17000/- to Rs.21000/- (Approximately).
